Ain't it funny how my old 2nd gen has never left me stranded.

 

Just kidding bud. Once I done with my truck. I'll take a look at mine and hopefully i'll be able to help you out.

 

Unfortunately mine is stranded at the dealership right now waiting on a new frame

Guess you're a lucky one. I've looked through the 2nd gen forums, they suck too. Toyota gives their taco owners the shaft.

That's the truth, Toyota has been going downhill for awhile now. Sorry to hear about your truck, it sucks

 

It seems there's not really much separating them from the other guys anymore.

 

The prices we pay for fancy shit. In the end it is just more to go wrong. I'm in the process of rebuilding a 94 pickup, no fancy, nothing to go wrong. Back when cars were just equipped with crappy engines instead of electronic gadgets.

My 1st gen is doing pretty good. Only 275K miles on it.

 

I went with Cleary so everything installed including the floor and driveway it ran $39k ish. Kit prices aren’t bad if you want to put it up yourself. Concrete is expensive especially since I’m going with a 6” floor for the lift.

 

all I'm hearing is older is better.

 

Finished the chopping of the sliders. Just chilling waiting for paint to dry. Nothing like a good size piece of hot slag to land on the upper lip and melt the skin. At first I was like the pain will stop don’t worry about knocking it off your face it only burns so long. Then I realized I smelled skin and the pain increased time to knock it off your face. That’s another scar on my list from slag.

 

Only until you can’t get it up then it’s time to throw in the towel.

 

At least it wasn't burning your namesake.
