I think you need to look at it again. Ramsey plants his left foot, leads with his shoulder, and pushes off Bell, and that what makes Bell bust his ass. He had some momentum, but when he plants his foot, he almost fully stops. I wouldn't expect a Pats fan to acknowledge dirty playing anyway. It's water under the bridge. ;)

That 'planted' foot that you're talking about is in the air when he pushes off. Hard to get leverage when it's not touching the ground...

This is certainly an eye-opener to what some people call dirty play, though. Explains a lot of the anti-Patriot Butt Inflammation going around during the Brady/Belichick era. Bell flopped like LeBron

Of course his left foot is in the air, he's pushing off Bell, lol. He's using his right foot that's planted. Ramsey comes to a complete stop when he pushes Bell. I've watched it like 20 times. So you're saying it was completely necessary for Ramsey to shove him on the sideline, and not just continue in front of Bell?

His right foot is the one I was talking about...Why would he plant his left foot to push off with his left arm?
He comes to a complete stop because he's no longer being pushed and he just ran into a guy who's got 20-30lbs on him.

Now, I'll admit that the shove wasn't necessary on his part. But are you saying that he's to blame because he pushed off of a Steeler that he got shoved into by another Steeler? And Bell definitely flopped it.

Seems like lately watching football is like watching....football

Welcome to the conversation, that's the whole point, it was unnecessary, and why he got penalized.

He got penalized because of lousy refereeing.
So you're saying that Smith-Schuster's shoving him completely out of bounds and into Bell after the play as over was necessary and undeserving of a penalty?

Haven't read all the posts about this weekends game, but the WORST CALL of all was: CHANGING THE ILLEGAL PROCEDURE AGAINST THE PATRIOTS ON FOURTH DOWN AFTER IT WAS ANNOUNCED......THEN TURNING IT INTO A PENALTY ON THE TITANS THAT GAVE THE PATS A 1ST DOWN AND CHANGED THE MOMENTUM OF THE GAME!!!! Like the REVERSED TD against the Jets the week after the NON-TD call against the Steelers. Three straight games????

Always seems to favor the Pats?????

    LETS GO JAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean this penalty? It's the first one that they address, since people are squawking so hard about it.

But yeah, that one penalty is probably why Tennessee lost by 3 Touchdowns. :notsure:

Cuz they are the Patriots. This here is a clear case of the defense attempting to rough up the passer, thwarted by a legal choke hold. 15 yards / first down Pats.
