My last post was that i found that a fitting was stuffed into a rubber hose that comes from my air intake tube to the bottom of the throttle body.. well today i pulled it out and WoW.. it looks like a gas line fitting. somebody put it in there to slow the air down.. now that i took it out.. the idle runs high.. I do have a check engine light for a ctp sensor to be replaced... Does anyone know if thats why..

    heres some pics

heres the hose with the crack.. gotta replace it now.. comes out the intake tube

that probably a vent return line of some sort. ...not positive, but that's what it looks like to me.

in years past, it wasn't an issue. ..now, with all the emissions crap, you have to vent back into the intake.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
There is a resonator delete mod (IIRC) for first gen intakes. I think that is what was done. I will see if I can locate it.

Ok, it's not the silencer delete mod. It appears to be the EGR Block mod.

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
It's your blow off valve to your turbo.

bro.. i've checked for leaks on the vacuum.. one code i got is a p0510 closed throttle position switch... the other is p0116 coolant cirbuit range performance... gonna change out the sensor.. I'm not a mechanic but do run a bodyshop.. i know a lil.. when i start my truck , it runs fine (idle),as it warms up , the idle goes high on its own.. It seems that the coolant sensor is not sending the signal to something to tell the truck that its warm . cause soon as the truck warms up.. the idle runs high again.. seems to me like the cooling sensor and the throttle sensor are not communicating... whats your take on this...
