anyone have any tips? I withdrew 1.49 LTC from Binance and transferred to BitGrail. BitGrail received 0.49 LTC, and the other 1 LTC went to a different address according the the transaction on BlockCypher. Missing 1 LTC and don't know where it would have gone? Hacked? Stolen?

Yup, I hope so. I sent a support ticket to BitGrail.

The Tx (a2f049282d69635ad27c5fa3f5c9d2425fc043ba2e7cb24c79b1ac73f092f48d) is the same on both Binance and BitGrail. 0.4931334 goes to my wallet (LavQAPjwqSWJzVMwVT4ALohDaUTY25Y8BA), 1.00000001 goes to another address (LYEdWiGQ4t1Yfv9JmFHT4UM48VSHWhLDvQ), which is then transferred to another address (LQyT34HHAdacryY5G1W9rCEeB8g4GmhSe3), where it sits now, according the chain on BlockCyper.

Looks like it's been swiped along the way to being deposited to my BitGrail LTC wallet...

upon further digging, it seems that many people lost either ETH or LTC deposits to BitGrail around the same time. Strangely enough, other users had extra ETH or LTC deposited to their accounts. Looks like BitGrail was giving out duplicate addresses for LTC and ETH and I was on the losing end. Support ticket opened, but I'm not hopeful. Stay away from BitGrail...

My dad and I are splitting a mining rig. He ordered 2 of these from a different site. 8gb and similar performance to the full size version. The case I got is large and has insane airflow, so even though these run a little hot, it'll be ok!

    https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1070-AERO-ITX-8G-OC.html

Based on NiceHash, that setup with that card can potentially net us around $4,000 a year for each of us if we both run 2 cards.

I'm running 1070's, profitability can change as the difficulty changes but right now I'm earning roughly $125+ per card/month.
From June to Sept I mined around 6 Eth total at today prices that's $7800 but the difficulty kept climbing and the profitability fell from 2+ ETH/month to .75 ETH in sept.
So I switched to awesomeminer and thats what I'm with now.
trying to forecast mining profits is impossible just like the crypto market, but you'll no doubt make some money at it.
If you find a coin or miner set up that earns more than $5/day per card let me know and I'll get on it too.

I bought LCT, lendconnect I'm sure it's scammy like bitconnect but it's at $30 and bitconnect is at $300 so maybe I'll get lucky.

I think I will start us off with Awesomeminer and see what's happening. $125 per card would be great! 4 cards doing $125 would have us sitting pretty!
