    Picked up a few things today for the truck. Pennzoil Platinum was on sale for 40% off so may as well buy 2 haha oil change is due soon but will make it until spring. Picked up some gear oil while I was there in preparation for a front diff and t case refresh once the weather warms up. Also I replaced both wiper blades before we got a lot of freezing rain and silly me decided to peel the passenger side blade off the windshield while it was frozen. So needless to say I bought a new one lol

    Get yourself a 10mm hex head socket for the front diff plugs. Makes the job a lit easier than using allen key lol. And be careful, the bolt might be close to be seized there also... I used an extension on my ratchet to break it open... scary af!

    I think you said somewhere you may consider Moog stuff? I think I'll get prices from them when needed, with everything greasable and full warranty (lifelong)?

    Sway bar end links are 50$, Outer Tie Rod Ends are 30 and LCA are 115 on their site, so assuming that's all US$$$ so in CND it would be like 65, 40 and 145. I was at the dealer getting stuff anyways so I figured I would ask, I do like that moog is greasable. but OEM seems to last a long ass time hahaha the moog has a Limited Lifetime Warranty, but lifetime doesn't actually mean lifetime and Limited means they have secret ways of not honoring it. the furnaces we sell have what they call a lifetime warranty, but its actually only 25 years lol

    so OEM tie rod ends are actually cheaper then moog, sway bar end links are half the price and well LCA don't even compare in price hahaha

    If you get all the hardware and sandblast the lca and repaint you should be good for a while!

    the thing that concerns me is I don't know how much life is left in the bushings and the BJ, the BJ alone is 115$ and the bushing all together is about 360$.

    Rebuild = 1200
    Moog + Hardware = 490
    OEM + Hardware = 1260
    TC LCA = 1600 to 1800 USD$

    soooooo

    Moog LCA+OEM Hardware+OTRE+SBEL = 700
    OEM = 1648

    :rofl:

    I will probably end up going with Moog for price reasons. I have read a few threads of people running the moog LCA and so far so good, apparently the arm itself is identical to OEM, not sure about the bushings or the BJ but even the replacement are decently priced. Bushings are like 25 bucks and BJ is like 55$

    You remind me I have to use the needle I bought and grease one of my upper bj that seems to be leaking... I don't want it to go away... at least not this spring haha if I had the money I would redo the front end too with the installation of the nee lift but all truck money I saved is going to that trip lol after that I'll have to knock on wood for everything going good for a while lol. (Still have to change that O2 sensor:anonymous:)

    are ur UCA's the same as mine? u could always just have one of my UCA's haha the BJ's aren't leaking and still seem to be tight. I was just going to throw them out anyways since I'm putting in the SPC UCA's. I really shouldn't be spending the extra money, but ill make it work, I don't want to have to knock on wood hahaha I am going to have all the front end torn apart anyways, might as well give it a refresh while I am in there. would hate to install the lift, then a month later need to take it apart again. I also bought the truck used, so I don't know how old anything is. (I remember ur 02 sensor still needs to be fixed I just chose not to bug you about it hahaha)

    If you were going to throw them away, then I would take them as spare parts for sure! Thanks!

    It would be the smartest move to redo the front, but funds have to be directed somewhere else lol

    And I feel dumb about my sensor lol I have some kind of lack of motivation lol. I should recover when the snow melts haha
