Got confirmation from BAMF just now that my bedrack is shipping. Holy shit freight is expensive cross country!

But im ready to get my tent back on. Perfect timing for some winter camping. Ill be buying that queen sized Teton 0 degree sleeping bag to replace my mummy bag.

Nothing like trying out different setups/tents and seeing what you like.

 For the rack and sleeping bag. Need a good cold weather bag! Gf refuses to go winter camping so I need something to bargain with.

The double size sleeping bags are nice for that.

I have said bag...can confirm it works. I was hot in it last trip I took to KY in freezing temps.

If you’re in that big ass bag solo in freezing temps, be aware that you’ll feel cold spots in other unoccupied areas of the bag that’ll warm up once you occupy it. After the first night, I slept in sweatpants, shirt, and socks and never felt the cold spots again (no exposed skin inside bag). It kept me so warm I was probably more out of the bag than in it.

Overall great bag and don’t see a reason to to change it. It is a huge mofo though and I couldn’t get my RTT closed with it inside.

Noiceeeee! That should be enough to get her out there. Plus I have that cold weather cover you sold me with the tent so I think we will be in good shape!

Dude...only time she’ll be cold with that cover and bag is outside of the tent. I didn’t have the cover on mine and I had windows cracked for airflow.

I don’t have any problems closing my ARB with the double bag and pillows inside it.

Ah. Forgot you had one of style tents. That might be more of a problem to fit it all in there.

Where were you guys when I spent $230 on a synthetic quilt rated at 20 degrees?! I had to look up this Teton bag. Is it too good to be true? A 0 degree bag for under $100? What's the downside?

The side zippers don’t have very good overlapping flaps, at least in mine. It is a very obvious temperature difference on the sides.

    :fistbump: :bananadance:

You can just open one of those half doors in your cab and throw it back there before you leave. Or build something into your new drawer system.

I have a Coleman 0 degree and I slept in 6 degrees. Couldn't feel my feet after a couple hours..

The bag fits in there though

All of this talk of sleeping bags reminds me that I'm looking for a double bag too, anybody have recommendations for a double size 0 to 10 degree one? Maybe I'm not looking in the right places but I can't find many.

The teton sports one above is pretty popular, and the price is pretty good.
    Big Agnes also makes several
