Ottawa wins it! They aren't going down without a fight that's for sure. Go Sharks! 3-0 it's about time all those shots on goal start showing up.

yeah yeah they played well tonight. avs played like shit. oh well it happens...

 

The Av's didnt play like crap. The sharks just played the hockey they should have been playing the whole series. That and they finally didnt put the puck in our own net. No offense but as well as the Avs have played they also are only still alive due to Anderson. They have played the same all 5 games. call it what you will but look at shot counts and scoring %. the sharks have dominated most of every game.

 

Anderson looked like he forgot to get his skates sharpened before the game , seriously , he was having trouble stopping and pushing off .

Sharks did play well as a team tonight , including Nabokov , but Thorton is still the invisible man .

Avs seemed a bit overwhelmed by the gravity of the game , I bet they play better at home in the next game , the Sharks wouldn't be the Sharks if they didn't at least hint at totally choking again and bowing out in the opening round .

Thronton sadly has been that way every season come playoffs. Marleau and Heatley with the exception of tonight have been cold as well. I do expect the Avs to play much better next game. However, I feel not only have the sharks worn the Avs down, but the un success of last year will help motivate them to take this series. Anderson is however a monster in net.

 

I agree , Thornton is a bum after the reg season ends , and Anderson's 51 save shutout was an awesome display .

I've scored like this before, I can do the one where you start with the puck behind you and your stick between your legs. Bar down of course...

 

He was non-productive in Boston when the playoffs rolled around

 

I can't believe NJ just laid down like they did against the Flyers. Just a few weeks ago not many thought the Flyers were going to make the playoffs.

 

I've heard a lot of talk lately about the need to rest to endure a long chase for the Stanley Cup. Then I read this:
