This was initially a special request. The solid panel would allow you to attach with metal screws, just about anything you like, anywhere, in any position.

I was the special request. I removed the back seat of my truck and replaced it with a platform that my dogs ride on. I don't need MOLLE pouches on there and wanted something to prevent the puppers from tearing up the sound deadening and foam I put on the back wall. Doc's panel is a very nice way to dress things up.

Without the molle holes. I was thinking of having a solid metal plate so I can mount stuff to.

Sounds good all, good reasons for a solid panel, I couldn't think of why I would use one, but all your thoughts make sense. A full panel would look very very clean.

I was thinking Amp, onboard air, crossovers, mounts for tools, etc... but I got the regular panel so I will just add flat panels to mount stuff to.

I have a dog and want to give him the most room i can in the backseat of my access cab. The molle panel will allow more noise into the cab and i cannot put sound deadener on it.

The solid panel i should be able to sound deaden 1 or both sides.

Why can’t you put sound deadener behind a molle panel? I did.

I want to deaden the panel itself

Ok. I just did the back wall. I guess either would work.

You try any mass loaded vinyl with a foam decoupling layer? I’m not sure another layer of the dynamat style deadener will do much as it’s mainly geared towards knocking down panel resonance.
