The Teton one linked by @brian2o0o above is the one I was speaking about in my previous post. I have it and couldn’t be happier.

I bought an Enlightened Equipment 20-degree quilt from reviews I found and the fact that I was looking for something that wasn't as enclosed as my mummy bag because my 25lb pup camps with me too. When it's cold, he doesn't fit inside the mummy bag so well. But, that Enlightened Equipment quilt is $285. Luckily I bought it on their Black Friday sale. But it was still hella expensive. The positive is that it weighs practically nothing (not that I'm thru-hiking or anything). And it packs down to practically nothing. It was really meant for backpackers.

I actually saw that one when I was looking, the only thing that gets me about that one in particular is the size. I was hoping to just keep a bit of open space in the tent with the bag open. And I really want to be able to fold it in the tent. My main reason for wanting one is that I like to stretch out a bit when I sleep. The Big Agnes bags look nice, but I can't tell if they are divided in the middle or not.

Edit: I have a Tepui Kukenam

Cool, I like the size of them better. I just don't like the thought of my heater sitting on an unstable sleeping bag, along with the folding issue.

You shouldn’t have any problems with that queen sized bag. I have the FSR 55 tent. My wife and I have those roomy trapper sleeping bags and zip them together. Probably the same as a queen size.

It should still fit. Remember, we don’t have to struggle with a zipper on the cover. The cover on mine has plenty of extra expansion even loaded with sleeping bags, sheets, pillows and the ladder.

Just had my Tuffstuff4x4 Elite RTT delivered end of last week. Just waiting on cross bars from Can-Back so I can mount it.

I saw Jason from the Primal Outdoors YouTube channel use a baking sheet to put his Mr. Buddy Heater on in his RTT. Seems to be a good hack for having a heater in the RTT.

Heck yeah. Bald Eagle has some awesome trails. I've never camped there, but I'm up for it.

baking sheet transfers heat, not that the base should get hot, but...
If you do something like that put a cooling rack in the baking pan & that will keep any stray heat transfer to a minimum.
    (Good for cooking bacon too!)

RCI Skid, RCI bed rack, Tepui RTT, Pelfreybilt bumper - ordered
We considered this one recently, but decided against it for a few reasons.
    1. it's really long - 94" or 7.8', and with me being 5'8" and her at 5'1", that seems like a lot of empty foot space that will get cold.
    2. I want a bag that has a cotton/flannel interior, as I'm a light sleeper and the movement of the body against the ripstop nylon or similar materials, make enough noise to wake me. And we just like the feel of cotton better. (I just looked and it appears they have a Fahrenheit model that actually does have a cotton interior, which we had not seen before - both in the 0 and 20 degree bags)
    3. Unzipping out of the bag is frustrating in the night when having to go pee.
    4. Quite heavy at 16.5 lbs
    5. Not as easy to get out of when she wants to hit me after I frustrate her on our 8 week soon-to-be trip.

Wife made some custom flannel sheets (both fitted and flat) that were on clearance at the dreaded Bed, Bath, and Beyond, used our daily bed down comforter with a cover, and a heavy wool blanket on top. Just used it this Sunday night which got down to 18 degrees, and it worked great. It all folded up inside the tent just fine as well. I will say though, that at one point I rolled over to my side with my back to the tent wall, and I didn't get my backside covered and woke up with a cold draft on my back and rear.

That could work, but it's just one more piece of gear. I also have to factor in that I'd be in a double size bag alone (single again) and the bigger it is, the less I'll be able to keep the heat trapped around me. I want to stretch out, but a smaller double bag will be more than enough for that purpose.

I ran this setup for a very short time before I was tired of it. RhinoRack cross bars.

Wind noise, body roll, and MPG were all awful. Wouldn't recommend. And then my current setup with BAMF half bed rack and CVT 6' awning on the cross bars now
