Mine isn't throwing any codes but I have noticed it idling a bit faster while sitting at stop lights (example).

Not a lot faster but noticable. I think I'm going to go ahead and order one just for shits and giggles. They are only around 50 bucks.

I normally idle at 700ish when warmed up. When my TPS was shot I was idling around 1750 or so when fully warmed up.

 

Ya... I'm not having any drastic issues even approaching that.

i have ran a 4runner cv iirc. No issues.

 

Tire caught my bumper but I think it was in an accident before I bought the vehicle... there wasn't anything on the car fax either.. My main question is the bumper supposed to have a little space or is it supposed to be completely flushed?

 

Last weekend went up to Tonga Ridge Trailhead with my bros. Almost made it to the top.

You can adjust that by loosening the four 14mm bolts holding the bracket the the frame, readjusting the bumper as needed and then tighten the bolts back up while holding the bumper in place.

 

Just got done replacing my rack, LBJ's, and LCA bushings. Tried using the engraver on the washers for the whiteline bushing washers to give them more grip like the factory ones have. Gotta get an alignment tomorrow because the drive home was scarry as hell

 

Supposed to sit flat. Hopefully nothing is tweaked on the frame horns.

 

Just double check and make sure the shop torques your hardware properly. I have been running whiteline bushings for a long time with no issues.

 

I definitely will. Bout had a come apart when I was taking stuff off. First time working on it since I bought it. Only the driver's side ball joint was torqued down right. Everything else broke free way to easily

 

I think it is bent, wondering if I should bend it back... Can I replace this if I can't bend it how it goes?

 

Different compressor, but I wrote up the install for my ARB CKMA12 on the firewall. Depending on your config, this may be one of the few places you can install.

Really? Everyone sells them as a way to be nicer to your CV's. Does it really not do anything? Or you just think "not worth it for the reduction in lift"? Actually curious - makes no difference for me, since my skid supports either config.

Bumper should have a bit of space, but be flat. The post just after yours has a good front-on photo.

 

Not worth it at all. All it does is lower the front mounts. So you are effectively tilting the diff, that's it. barely changes the location of the cv axles.

 

If your worried about tearing up your cv's just by the cheaper ones and get the long travel boots for them
