    Nice!

This for the EDC and a molle roof rack for the AR and mags, and you're set

So, this is a thread about installing a mag holder on the seat of your 3rd gen Tacoma. The OP took the time to do a nice write-up with pictures and good advice. He also followed up in answering a question about concealed carry requirements in AZ. He never posted anything about 2nd Amendment rights, the need to carry, use or other stuff.

Question is, why are some on this thread giving others a hard time? If it’s not your thing, why are still here?

    Just asking...

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I roll with a Glock 29 w/3 mags, 7.5 in. Noveske Ar with combat load out of 240 rds and a 14in Benelli M4 Super 90 with 100 rds of #4 buck and 100 1oz slugs. Shit does not always go down when you are at home within arms reach of the gun safe.

Aside from saying “Damn!” I do have a few questions for you @prohunter4

How bad is your neighborhood that you’re “rolling” w/ an M4 Super 90?

EDIT - I LOVE my Benelli.

What sort of umbrella policy do you have? 1M? 10M?
Where do you manage to store all these rounds of 12 gauge when you’re out crawling about the dirty south?

You mean I'm not suppose to leave my tooth brush on the counter??? Maybe that's why my wife is pissed all the time...:D:cool:

Seriously speaking, nice idea...the next level is to find a way to detach the mag pouch from the seat and quickly attached it to your belt with one hand...industrial Velcro, maybe...clip on the back side of the pouch...

Not how I roll, but if OP feels the need, I'm okay with it.

Sounds reasonable...I have foregone the Benelli (which I do have at home - same barrel length)...I carry a LMT 10" AR, with 6 30rd. Magpul mags, (extra 260 rounds of 77gr. IMI 5.56 HP in the ready bag), a Glock 27 (with 3 extra Glock 22 mags) and a Glock 23 (with 3 extra G-23 mags) and 500 rds in the ready bag...The ready bag also have an extra set of BRU, Mil-Rain Gear, 5 days of food, water in a pouch for 3 days, and variety of survival items (saw, fire starting equipment, cooking containers and tools, COMM gear, spares of batteries, etc...). I installed one of the backseat vaults to secure the rifle...

Be good boy scout...ALWAYS be prepared...

It's the same as carrying a fire extinguisher and two recharges for it. Nobody is expecting a fire or going into an area that is burning. They just want the peace of mind knowing that they have the proper tools in case something unexpected happens.

Not my cup of tea to carry daily, keep my fire arms at home. But, OP wants too and he can, so nice write up OP.

This is a solid write up and great idea. Thanks for posting.

For those who dont understand then you probably dont carry concealed or otherwise. If you do carry concealed then you understand the (sometimes) need to carry more than the one mag your carry of choice will, well, carry. Also sitting in your vehicle for extended periods of time with your carry of choice and two mags on your belt can get a bit uncomfortable. Its ok standing but riding and letting them both dig into your side, eh, that gets old.

Finally and probably the best reason Muscle memory. As a Marine I understand the need to train how you fight. Muscle memory is key when SHTF and you lose all sense of time trying to rip the perp's throat out who is attempting harm to your person, property or those you love. Always knowing you have a mag next to you, in the same place, when needed and training that way could save your life.

Now for those of you who dont carry that is your prerogative but for those of us who do, daily, this is a solid idea.

UPDATE: I just realized I have 3 more of these mini modular mount systems left. PM me if you want one for $25 shipped.

Lol. Just mount them up. Why stop with 2 mags when you can have 8?

You can NEVER like guns too much... Just like you can never have to many, and too much ammo....

Want to be sure I understand you clearly. You have JUST the mounting plate, not the plate and mag holder, correct?

Everyone is hating but they fail to realize that this mag pouch can also hold two packs of crackers if needed. Tactical Cracker pockets are nice to have when stranded.

    Haters gonna hate

This is has a very strong odor of mall ninja. Looks really well done though. Next mod should be slots for 15 speedloaders for when you carry your revolver.
