    Yeah.
With where that is, you could probably just fix it yourself. May not look perfect, but better. The good thing is that it is not metal underneath - it won't rust. The bad thing is that it is not metal underneath -- it is gouged and needs a flexible paint. Toyota dealers can order your color in a spray can. It's been a lot of years since I painted cars, but we had to add "flex agent" to paint that was going on rubber bumpers, so you may have to tell them it is going on a plastic bumper. Probably doesn't matter with today's paints, though.

Get some body glaze (kind of like a light, thin bondo), scuff it down, fill the gouges with glaze using a razor blade, sand lightly, clean and spray that area starting with just the problem area, then move slightly out to fade it in, but not too far. Probably less than 50 bucks in materials, and better than painting the entire bumper anyway, you don't want a thick paint layer on those flexible parts, it will crack.

Or. Better yet. Tape a nice line off above it, do the same on the other side, and Plasti-Derp over it.

Well today was fun... Some hooligans got into my truck last night and stole some stuff. Luckily I cought it on a security camera. The police are investigating. Apparently they hit the entire neighborhood.

I have the tool for crimping the clamp used on most CVs. If not I have the other tool for the universal clamp that you can get from the parts store. So we can try spreading the clamp and then recrimping in the desired location or cutting off the factory clamp and putting on a new one .

They have those bumper covers that are body color. It's been a while but I thought is was around $100 and it looked good for a color match. Just an idea.

It would probably sag like a mofo. Leaf pack/add a leaf would be to level out your truck. I’d say if your end goal is a bumper, see if you can touch it up yourself like mentioned. Don’t rush the lift cause then you’ll just spend more money later getting what you really wanted.

Sad I missed wheeling but things are getting hectic in this household. New baby coming in a month and we’re trying to close on a house in a couple weeks. Trying to move in before my wife pops is gonna give me white hairs.

She needs to do like the rest of us and get the bumper she wants and just eat poverty flavored food until she can afford the rear suspension upgrade parts.

My recommendation is Ramen with slices of spam cut up and thrown in there. You can change it up for some PB&J once in awhile.

I need to find some big coveralls to keep around the shop for stuff like that.

For the smokers, I fixed that black kerosene heater that sat by the fridge, now it just needs fuel. Anyone have some kerosene they can bring to fill it up? A gallon would probably be more than enough.

Also for people standing outside I have plenty of fire cardboard, works the same as wood but burns faster and a little hotter. Use as much as you would like

There is wood in the burn barrel now to help make coals as we’ve been putting the pull offs from the deck on back of the house in there.
