From the meat and smoking thread ;) Gotta share with y'all...

Busy night tonight. Got the venison summer sausage cut, vacuum sealed, and wrapped in freezer paper

Checked on the dry ageing prime ribs. At one week they are darkening nicely. Can't wait to smoke one!

Then I had 5 pounds each of beef and ground pork butt... mix together and portion to 20 half pound Moink Burgers! Why not?!

I got no love for this ice shit. Fought it for 6 years in Spokane - 6 month winters up there. Nope nope nope nope nope.

Patio stairs were covered in ice. Dogs were extremely cautious heading down to pee this morning. Thankfully there's a 6" strip that is under the roof line that they could walk on.

I stubbed my toe on the Roomba on my way into work this morning...

I think I'm going to be okay.

I decided to brave the roads and drive from Austin into Wimberley. Or maybe I'm just an idiot. Turns out no one else is coming.

Maybe I'll take a nap and head back home. Just don't want to be at home bored all day.

I too am in my formal business pajamas. Boss put the word out to everyone last night to telework because everything is basically closed.

There is ice on my home windows. They're so well insulated that ice is on them. Pretty sure that I'm not going anywhere even if I want to.

Roadways are starting to close down here as we still have rain mix coming down, don't think I could make it to work if I tried.

1431 all the way to 35 was good. Just one dumb ass in Cedar Park couldn't keep it on the road over by the old police station. Fuckin roads weren't even icy and still couldn't manage.
