Tires are absolutely great. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Very quiet on the road and they offer great grip in the dry and wet. I haven't had them out on anything other then dry and wet tarmac so the verdict is out on if they are good offroad. The stock goodyears are just plain bad.

Interior LEDs, all weather mats, TRD performance CAI, trifold hard tonneau cover, predator pro step, accessory interior/exterior illumination package. Kicker tweeters, Kicker speakers.
The lights are a port installed option if your dealership is in the Southeast Toyota distributor area.

What are your guys' thoughts on extended warranty coverage? I got it on my Taco but still within the cancellation period. Cost was $2,625 for 100k miles or 8yrs, whichever comes first.

Now that my beloved Barcelona Red pro has officially been totaled, and insurance payment is being processed, I put a deposit on a Cavalry blue pro! Looked at the three choices.

    My opinion only:

White: nice, looks great with black trim, but still reminds me of a work truck color. I work for a utility, I see white trucks all day long. A pearl white, like my wife’s Scion iM...I would’ve been all over that!

Black: sexy, seductive, dangerous (just like that girl that you dated, knowing it probably was a bad idea. But you did it anyway) and a royal pain in the ass to keep pristine. Also an awful lot of black there, taking away from the contrast of the fender flares, scoop, wheels, and badging.

The cavalry blue had been growing on me big time, since all I’ve done in my spare time is look at pics of all three colors, LOL
So I pulled the trigger! Set to pick it up on 1/22 400 miles from home, so here’s a crappy dealer’s website pic.

You’re going to love it! I posted on the what have you done thread about the little accessories and fun stuff I’ve done in the couple weeks I’ve had mine. Might see something you like that you can order while you wait to pick it up! :D

Wow, yeah nice stuff. I was admiring the remote for sure. The black tailgate lettering is on my list for sure, and probably the interior vinyl lettering.

It's probably worth it but I would look into that cost... That sounds like full retail for the extended warranty. Dealer cost is no where near that and can usually be negotiated for much less than full retail. I paid $1600 for mine at the time of sale and even that is probably too much. I've read of people paying around $1000 - 1200 or so for that coverage.

Yea I live down the street from the dealer. I saw the TRD out front for a few days in blue. Walked in Thursday night and told them I did not want to pay the 10K dealer mark up. They asked me what I was willing to pay I told them $1500 was fair. Plus I liked this truck only had a few hundred dollars of dealer add ons i.e; mud flaps, all weather mats etc... I traded my 09 with over 200,000 miles for well over KBB so in the end dealer mark up was a wash. We made a deal and I was within a few hundred of where I wanted to be so I was very happy plus 2 years free maintenance and HB beach parking pass. Truck was kinda a impulse buy so the next day I called a bunch of dealers to check if I over paid and I never found one that did not have a market adjustment over MSRP. It has been a few days and I have no regrets I really like the truck and it drives much better than my 09. My wife’s car had all the safety features automatic accident braking, lane assist, reads text pages, etc... so I’ve beeen waiting for Toyota to add them to the the Tacoma for 18.

It's possible, I suppose, if you're in the Southeast distributorship. Check with your dealer and see if they can get it. This option with my truck was $349. The ID Code was LL100 "LED Illumination Package, interior and exterior". Hope this helps. By far, this is one of the nicest options that came with the truck. I crawled underneath to examine the installation, and it is very tight and professionally done.
