Just went through this on Lauren's car, had the dude at batteries plus do his thing and he managed to short out the battery for a second. The car didn't want to start and the dash was lit up like a christmas tree.
Of course it was out of their realm of possibility that the short caused it. Idiots.
I checked every fuse under the dash and the huge fuse box under hood and it was the 4th to last one I checked that was bad. Solved the problem.

:facepalm:it's entirely possible that a friend was merely helping a friend.
People ask me for help all the time.
Besides, she's 41, way too old for me.

Hi all, just posted this under 4X4 vendor.

@CharlieCafe if I can remember I will bring in her that Winch control box thing and see if she can make a copy/ cost.

Posting this for a co-worker's side business of her & her husband. She is outstanding and I highly recommend them.

    Sokratic Creations- 3D Printing

We’re up for most challenges and can do custom designs or just print from an existing design (cheaper). We have 4 printers, our largest bed is 500 mm (19.69 inches or 1.64 ft). We typically print PETG (the stuff our clear bottles are actually made out of in the lab) which is already pretty strong, but our strongest material is Polycarbonate. We once did a tuba mouth piece out of it that turned out really good. We’ve made RC car tires and other pieces, replicas of buildings for Christmas villages, masks for costumes, weapons for costumes, planters, toys, game pieces, lamps and lamp covers, and other household item type stuff, etc. I know we’d be highly interested in getting into doing stuff for the off-road community so this is awesome, thank you!

    Our email is contact@sokraticcreations.com

Custom design work can be quoted, just send us an email, it will be based on complexity of the design. Once something is designed we don’t re-charge a design fee if you end up needing more prints at a later time. If you already have a 3D file, our prints start at $0.70/meter of material used.

Materials: If what you're looking for is not listed, let us know what you need and we can see if it’s feasible for us.

    Current materials we work with:

    1. PETG (default)

    2. PLA

    3. Wood PLA

    4. Raptor PLA (High temp PLA that is a bit stronger than regular PLA)

-This material can be annealed (Heated and then cooled slowly to make it even stronger.)

    5. Polycarbonate (strongest material on the market)

    6. Polyflex or Ninjaflex (rubber-like material)

If you need/want ideas checkout www.thingiverse.com, they have some cool stuff!
