I'll give Tomlin credit for the Superbowl trip in 2008, but I still say that in 2005 he basically just coasted on the combo of team/staff that the Chin had built. :notsure:

We were spanked as children so we wouldn't turn out to be assholes as adults. Jerry Jones gives his kids candy before bedtime.

    Sad.

Thank you for that. I'm hoping my Vikes can at least make it to the big show. That's why that play was so sweet for us. Prior to that play, it was a classic Vikings playoff game (shooting themselves in the foot). We're never on the good end of those rare game winning plays and all to often on the short end. That being said, the Steelers are my second favorite team and I was really hoping to see them make it all the way as well. Wasn't looking forward to playing them if we were there too though.

2005 was Cowher. Tomlin took over in 2007 and the 2008 team was still most of the same roster (Cowhers) that won in 2005.

Was it? Thought Tomlin took over from Cowher in '05

Edit-That's right; Cowher retired in 07, didn't he?
Getting my years mixed up since I'm not a Steeler fan. :anonymous:

Then Tomlin definitely coasted into a SB win on the Chin's coattails, haha!

I feel like having the pirates in town kinda make everybody else look good. As long as you make it to the playoffs you're doing good.

They just traded off their best player so that he could go to a team that might be able to win a championship, even though their payroll is in the bottom 3rd and they can afford to get better players in....

The Pirates have no money. The 2nd lowest income from parking in the MLB is like $10 million a year. The pirates are the lowest... At $0

Not that that is everything but when I can get nice seats for $7.. they have no income from tickets either
