Is that typical for front and rear?

Pretty typical. Some guys do less, but for safety's sake I'd err on the side of caution.

@Dalandser one of my budies put me on to them. Their kit seems more reasonably priced

Yeah I almost went with their first gen kit. It's the least expensive 4.5 over kit out there. Good quality stuff!

BTF does quality work and Brandon is really great to work with. I'm super happy with the product and have had 0 issues in the few months Ive had their LT KIT-I would deffinately check them out.

Ran their stuff on my first ranger. Mid Travel kit and a cantilever shock kit in back. Great prices for great products and customer service. Wouldn't hesitate to go with one of their kits.

Would lower arm cam bolt positioning varie from different LT manufactures specs or would that be part of the allignment service?

Speaking of lca bolts and alignments. I am trying to remember something about the stock bolts and alignment cams. Does anyone know if the stock cam washers are stuck on the oem bolts? Or can they slide off? I'm tired of getting alignments and thinking about just welding them in place since I just got my alignment dialed back in. Just don't know if I'll be able to remove the bolts if I weld the cams in place. I guess worst case the next time I need them removed I could just cut the oem ones out and replace with some nice grade 8 bolts

Nah not gonna work. The sleeve is splined but it’s a pain if you remove the oval part for the spline. If you welded then on you couldn’t remove the LCA. Either tac them or mark with paint pen.

Those are special bolts though, don’t think you would find grade 8 either. Either use the stock cams or do a cam delete kit with grade 8 bolts......not recommended without Heims.

Thanks, I was basically trying to cheat the cam delete without having to make my own plates and welding them in place. I was planning on tacking them in place to help keep them from moving, but figured what the heck, should I just fully weld em?

Yep and they still move. Does better now that I'm LT and have suspension to help soak up the hard edge hits, but still nicked it out twice in the last 6 months. I've got a lifetime alignment at a good shop that I trust, it's just annoying having to go in every few trips

Done and done. I'll throw a tack on it and see how long that lasts

My buddy did away with his cam bolts. Made some weld washers and switched to grade 8 bolts. All his alignment is through his uca heims.
