Is there a way I can bypass clutch start cancel so I can put a remote start in?

You can disconnect the plug at the clutch pedal and put a jumper wire between the contacts. You won't need to step on the clutch to start the truck anymore.

They do make remote starters for manuals. I have one, not a fan of parking in neutral but the remote start is nice in the winter.
Had a guy at tire kingdom start my rig in gear. The ebrake held and stalled it.
I was pissed freakin idiot. I went over and told him to get out of the fn truck. Manger says he didn’t know it was in gear really another fn idiot. I left and never returned.

I have a Compustar Remote Start & Alarm in my truck, with the Prime 901 remote, RPS Touch, and EZ-Go modules. I have a 2013 5-speed and I love it.

The RPS Touch is useful when I go surfing, biking, snowboarding, etc. It's just a windshield keypad- similar to what Fords have on the door handle.
The EZ-Go module turns your system into a proximity key for lock/unlock. This will not start your vehicle- it is only for keyless entry

Being that I had a base model 2nd gen, I did not require a bypass module. If you're an SR5 or higher, you'll need to add the Blade to the unit.

I recommend picking up a Compustar. Their product is sold modular which allows many different configurations. For example, if you wanted just an alarm system but their top of the line remote, that would be possible. The bypass module is manufactured by ADS which is a leader in vehicle integration.

If you pick up a CM7000AS, you can connect any accessory that Compustar sells to that brain. For remote starts on manual transmissions Compustar requires the FT-DAS, this is a 3 in 1 solution for shock, tilt, and forward movement. The forward movement will be monitored so if the vehicle was somehow put in gear, the forward lurch would turn off the remote starter.

Regarding the clutch integration, most remote starters have a wire that activates right before during the remote start sequence. Some call it "status" but you will use that wire to trigger a relay to simulate the clutch button being depressed.

A remote start in a manual is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever seen. Trade for an auto and do it right.

You do realize that every remote start sold by Viper, Compustar, Audiovox is manual transmission compatible out of the box, right?
The amount of protection they have from in-gear starting negates your retarded post.
Try having some actual (helpful) knowledge about the subject.

I installed a viper remote start in my 6 speed and it works great. you can set up the remote start for a manual transmission, where you have to do a sequence to engage the RS.

You can also temporarily bypass the clutch switch / clutch start cancel with a relay, I even believe some remote starts have a dedicated output for the clutch switch

Every time I've seen a remote starter fail in a manual transmission is because of

    1. Failed to read instructions
    2. Doesnt have experience in electrical systems
    3. Bypasses the required safety connections/sensors

I have compustar not sure which one been along time.
    Nothing fancy single button.
I got no power locks etc.
love it! I freakin love it.
Had some good below 0 stretches appreciate it even more.
As long as I set it it works, and from a metal room in a metal building over an 1/8 mile away I’d say.
