Glock 43 or S&W340? Carry some, drive with some have in a hiking/camping backpack is the main design.

Know both systems well. Can shoot well.

Easy enough question. Thoughts from owners/shooters are appreciated.

Vote for the 43 here as well. Or a 26. Wife has a S&W 642, the 5 shot .38. I think the glock would out shoot the smith in speed and accuracy. Bought the smith for her because it should go bang every time without messing with slide/feed jams.

43 all the way. Been carrying it for a while, I own almost all the Glocks (collector) and it is still my favorite all around!

G43, my EDC and love it. All I shoot is Glock so I’m biased, but totally warranted.

Glocks are not my first choice, but I can say they always work. Smiths are the only choice in wheel guns, but I can say the light ones bite. My delima.

I love Glocks and own several myself, carried them concealed for years, however I've never really felt comfortable carrying it due to the lack of a thumb safety, especially appendix carry.

Purchased a Shield in 9mm a couple years ago for the thumb safety and prefer carrying that to my Glock. Pros and cons to both pistols it all comes down to shooters preference.

I prefer light. 340 is light. G43 has capacity and probably better concealability. These are the only two guns I am comparing. The others named are nice, but these are my choices.

Guess there are no 340 peeps here to get thoughts.

Glock 43, or Glock 26. I am not a S&W fan unless it is a large revolver. 4" or 6" barrel.

Had the G43 (sold it); definitely an excellent firearm, but I also have the G26 Gen 4. I do like that much better.

I am however going to take a look at the new Sig P365; maybe something to consider.

    God luck in your decision.
