It's less Tacoma and more mod
Just a piece of heat formed tubing, but right behind that is a little filter. I didn't choose to reuse the stock breather thing, didn't see any reason to.

Got carried away washing my truck and ended up pulling off the flares. I sanded them, primed, and plastidipped. Also ordered new pad/trim molding from Toyota.

Got around to fixing my IFS skid mounts near the LCA's (the rear mounts for the stock skids) after they were - unbeknownst to me - ripped off by my skid plate... Probably didn't need to fix them, but it made me feel better...

Has anyone had any issues with extended stainless steel braided brake lines leaking at this fitting?

    More specifically right here:
    5E632D87-EE7A-4083-88A3-9968D293C2D3.jpg

I’m pretty sure it’s leaking right there but hopefully I’m wrong!

If it is, can I run it for a couple of days until I get a new one? Just around town.

I think my battery is on its way out, I’ve had a few hard starts over the last week or two. Thing is only like a year old.

It’s on there right now. Did feel like pulling the skids off. I’ll probably get rid of it when I give the truck an oil change

    Shop called me this morning.

They confirmed my suspicions, it's the flexplate. They said it's cracked pretty bad. Ordered a new flexplate through Gunny, total comes out to about $1,200 dollars with labor. Yeah I could do it myself, but at this point my time is more important than the money I put into the truck. This is my DD and I've had to rent and borrow cars to get anywhere.

You live you learn. Oh well.

Damn dude, that SUCKS! Wish you were closer. I would make you let me help you swap out that flexplate... I'm sure we'd be able to get a couple other guys to help.

But at least you'll have peace of mind once it's done. I just know how hard it is to part with 1200 bucks.
