Norcal Spotted and BS Thread

Nice, I remember you asking me about it when you were thinking of getting one. I've got a couple things on it that need some attention though, like some rivets that came out and carpeting on the side that is coming loose. Haven't gotten out in it for a while now though, hoping to get somewhere this weekend though.

 

Not sure about fj steelies, but check the BS. If its the same as the fj alloys its like 4.5"
Should be fine. There was a thread on stock rim BS i saw a few yrs back, try searching that.

 

I tried searching here and google. No one specifies a fit for the FJ steelies... not that I can find anyway.

 

Look for the Back spacing on the rim in question and compare to yours.
Like i said there was a tread that someone made showing stock wheel specs.
So if there the same as your current wheels then you should be fine.
Just giving you ideas to search as your search is to specific and never heard someone driving to so cal for stock take offs

The money you will spend driving down and back just to buy some steelies, just buy from a local shop.

I personally think steelies suck balls. There weak, bend easy, they rust, and ugly.

 

Pretty sure they will. The 4th gen brake calipers are close/if not the same as 13WL calipers.

 

That is what I am thinking.

 

I like the fact that they are ugly. As far as bending... at least steel bends and (usually) doesn't crack like aluminum.

 

I'd stay local... but haven't seen any come up local.

You could try your local toyota junk yard. They might let you try the rim out in the parking lot to test fit.

Don't have a Toyota (specific) junk yard close, but that's a good idea. I'll have to call around to some salvage yards. See what I can find.

Holy shit another old woman got stuck on the same curb as the picture I posted a couple days ago. I’m starting to think they need to do something to draw attention to it.
