@jttx Keep an eye out for 3rd gen coil and shock setups somebody just took off

Could slap a .5" top plate spacer on em for a super mega cheap 2" lift until you can afford something nicer

I'm about to walk this same road very soon. Going to have to figure out a way to keep my lift up with a new bumper until I can get nice coilovers

As a full group? We meet up once a month at Cars & Coffee (Tacos and Tacos). Its just a meet, however....though its filled with a lot of bacon.

Smaller groups - we're a pretty active bunch. It seems like there's are groups doing just that almost every weekend. There's normally something being planned...or, if there's not and you have somewhere you're wanting to go, feel free to put up an invite. We've done everything from hill country offroad cruises, Hidden Falls meets, cruises down to San Antonio to invade their C&C, Non-TW sponsored multi-chapter trips to PINS, to joining up with Texas Overland meets, etc.

In short - its probably the most active 'offroad enthusiast' site / thread that I've seen.

Finally found the Austin Forum. I went to the Concordia University Tacoma get together, but got there late, actually super late (around 11.30) to find out most of y'all are gone already. Next time, I'll get there early!
Anyone from Austin does freshwater kayak fishing or saltwater surf fishing? Will be good to chat about fishing and Tacoma adventures :)

Oh, yeah, we get there EARLY. Average show time is about 0700 so we can claim our territory and check out the incoming cars. And cook breakfast.

    You’re in the right thread.

Welcome to TW, and I’ll add you to the list!

Now would be a good time to mention we are planning on a big convoy to Colorado and doing the Alpine Loop sometime in the summer.

Teleworking again because it ain't melted yet.

Definitely going to have to go in tomorrow because the rest of my team is flying in next week (we're scattered across the country) and we're having a big meet, train, and eat/drink fest.

Can you believe there are people in this world who don't know what a Trashy Trailer Park is? Gonna fix that quick.
