3rd gen 5100 bilstiens set at 0 with ome 888s, LR UCA, 5160 bilstiens in back with icon 3 leaf aal with 1" block. Fuel savage wheel wrapped in nitto ridge grapplers 285/70/17
I think I'm going to go with LR ucas with 3rd gen bilstein 5100 with 888 coils set at 0 for 2.75" of lift, and in back bilstien 5160s with hs 3 leaf add a leaf and a 1" block for approx 2 1/2" of lift. With carrier bearing drop.
    What you all think?

What shock did you use with the 888s? How much lift did you get? What set up did you go with for the back

This is basically the exact set up I have. The only difference is the brand of uca and I did the taco lean spacers. And I'm running 285 75 r16's. I didn't do the carrier barrier drop,

Do you have any rubbing issues or vibration in the drive train? Can you send me some pic. I'm also doing the taco lean spacer. Did you leave your overload spring in?

I sent a few pics to you. I get rub when I stuff the front at one point if the wheels are mid turn. Full lock no problem. I did leave the overload spring in as I tow a small boat occasionally. I probably couldve taken it out but i havent needed that much flex for what i do yet. i have no drive train vibrations to date. I've been happy all in all

Icon billet UCAs. No polyurethane bushings to constantly lube to avoid that creak and the uniball is recommended not to be lubed either.

Stock, they used higher strength steel on the ucas and Lca’s on 3rd gens compared to 2nd. I was able to get 2 degrees of caster on 2.5 inches of lift. I don’t see a reason to upgrade but some people want 3 degrees I suppose.

I run BajaKits UCA's with a 285/75-17 M/T and still have a little rubbing on the body mount after doing a chop. I am going to try another alignment to see if I can resolve it with some caster, if not I'll probably replace them with the Icon billet's which have a little more adjustability. Otherwise I'm happy with them.
