No. I’m satisfied with it. No reason to investigate further. And, I already know what the problem most likely is. It’s long and heavy.

Yeah, that’s why I always add “your results may vary” when asked about the one piece.

They told me double cardan wasn’t worth doing. Said it would make no difference one way or the other.

 

That's debatable... it splits pivot tolerances so it can help alot... in my case it don't seem to be angle issues so it didn't but they do help...

 

I don’t know anything about it. I differed to the professionals on that one.

 

I read up alot on it, they (AxEx) also told me that, plus 2 people in this wheeling game....but I'm sure there are too many variables

 

For what it’s worth They built me a one piece same spec as Tim’s and it drives perfectly. They also retubed my smashed two piece a little thicker and have that on now. Also drives perfect.

Synthetic winch line is not very elastic compared to other types of lines. Some lines can stretch alot such as a boats mooring lines so thag a boat can use such line to spring in or out on to moor up and unmoor to a pier dock or berth.

There are HUNDREDS of blends of line and materials they are made of and each one stores energy in a different way.

A synthetic winch line alone WILL NEVER store enough energy to do anymore than a surface scratch and maybe a welt like being snapped with a wet towel. Only when an object with mass such as say a shackle in recovery cases or a cleat on a pier because the boat rips it out of the pier do to shitty pier conditions does it pose a danger. You can hear and visually see a line on a boat stretch out and if it gets too far it lets out one HELL of a snap sound. And these lines are 1.5 inches or more that were mooring up with not a 1/2 inch synthetic winch line that as soon as you tighten it up thats really as far as its going to stretch. Before winching or anything you should let out some extra line and inspect it for any sort of fray or anything of the sorts.

I agree with what you are saying and I didn’t say it was going to fall to the ground but it doesn’t store energy like other materials

 

You need to focus on fixing your shit

 

Your wording is misleading. Synthetic winch line does not store AS MUCH energy as other materials.
But depending on loading and situation, a broken synthetic winch line can still cause an injury.
