So far,all rain, freezing rain in my area. Couple greasy spots on the way in, but no snow...yet. Inland is another story.

Good morning y’all, it’s hump day :broccoli:, it’s a balmy 1* today in the mitten state. I’m loving winter, the gift that keeps giving. Try and have a decent day, we only have so many.

Morning all. There's currently about 1" of snow on the ground and it's 31F. Snow, sleet and freezing rain are coming down all at the same time. o_O We'll see how the ride in is in a bit...

Roads just wet here on the way in. But it's snowing pretty good and the temp is dropping. Hovering around 32 right now. In the teens tonight.

Good Morning Peeps! :) 51* and cloudy here, will be in the low 30’s tonight. I wish I could bottle these Temps up, and break them out in August when it’s 102*! Be Safe.

:pccoffee: Good morning. Those getting snow, rain, ice and cold temps be safe. Everyone be safe.

1* out now and climbing was almost 10 below when I went to bed. Supposed to hit 23 today, above zero. Then thirties during the day until Monday. I'll take a shot of Spring in January anytime. Maybe a storm on Sunday with a mix of everything but that is Sunday. Today is only hump day.

I've only seen that show a few times mainly when my son was in the hospital and I was flipping through the channels. If it was on would end up watching it, interesting show. I hate peat silt. Posted last fall when I was bird hunting stepped into a peat silt (they call it peat shit around here) drainage going after a bird I shot and sunk up to my waist. The dog somehow knew what it was and wouldn't go after it, now I listen to the dog. Wasn't sure I was going to make it out of it. Sometimes they extend and run channels through the woods and with the mat on top they look like normal forest floor, until you step into it and too late. Hate the feeling you keep sinking and there is no bottom. Getting a dozer out of a peat bog would not be fun can't imagine trying to get from the dozer to solid ground would be either. They find all types of creatures and artifacts in the old peat bogs of Ireland and Scotland including humans.

    Not good.
I was hunting partridge (grouse to you, lol) in Vt's Nat Forest near some old cellar holes. One leg went into an old ,long forgotten well hole.
Scared the shit out of me. If I fell in and got hurt, it's unlikely anyone would have found me.

Yeah a lot of old homesteads in the NE with those hand dug wells still around. Now hidden and surrounded by thick cover that holds grouse. Always worried about the dog falling into one. Slate stone fence, dense brambles, old apple orchard with a few trees left, and a house foundation or at least the depression in the earth where it once stood. There are birds someplace in there. And a well.

    Good Morning.

About time I dropped by to say hello. All is well here, hope the same for all of you.

I’ll take some cold and snow please. We’re still half-@ssing this Winter with as much rain and 40° temps as anything else. I dislike this sloppy wet to icy stuff...is what it is. :notsure:
