    Gotcha that is how we are with doing electerical right now. We are so slammed we are giving new client 4 weeks out until we can get to them.

    Just ordered a set of 4x4 with seals. I recently bought the truck from a friend who obviously has a hearing problem..... I can actually feel the bearings rolling through my body.... Can't wait to get these replaced! Thanks for the service Kev! Will post pics when complete.

    Thank you for the support. Like others have said, this is an easy swap. 35-45 minutes per side. Torque the 35mm axle nut to 173 foot pounds and the bearing will live a long and happy life :)

    Have to buy little bit more expensive trq wrench cause orellys only goes to 150.

    This might sound stupid, but I have a general question?!

    How is the wheel hub hold on the bushing on a 4x4 hub? Just through pressure or does the CV has anything to do with it?

    Could I run with a missing CV axle in an emergency or would the wheel fall off?

    The cv shaft is through the hub and fastened with the axle nut. This keeps the proper preload on the bearing.
