Your local weather man said ,,,just a dusting,,,
He must be using the Dart Board method of weather forcasting. That's how they do it here sometimes

 Hi Rob glad to hear things are going well. I hear you on the weather, especially the ice hate it take snow any day. Been below zero here most every day since end of December but warming up now. During lunch was sitting in my truck at the hospital and 19*. Had my coat unzipped and ended up opening the drivers window all the way. Was starting to think I should check my blood pressure or something and a guy my age walked into the hospital wearing a flannel shirt and no coat. The new normal, couple of months ago would have felt frozen to death. Hope the ice goes away soon for you one way or another! Hate ice.

Graduated boot camp Jan. 27 1978 in Great Mistakes, Il. No one in the stands and we walked to the hall with towels wrapped around our faces in the blizzard to warm the air before it hit our lungs. Found out later my family who had driven out to see the graduation spent 2 days in a trailer of a truck that was jackknifed on I-90 with a couple of dozen other people. Yeah that was a hell of a dusting all across the Northern part of the Country. They have gotten better at guessing the weather today though
