    Thanks very much Jim!
Sure am! I'm getting some help from some local members but it'll all be at the base auto hobby shop so it'll be super easy since they have lifts, any tools you need, and now that I think about it they may have an alignment rack

Some pictures after my lift install. Better pictures will definitely be posted once I get it cleaned up.

How do the 886s ride without the added weight of a steel bumper up front?

Not too bad. I am on the rare side and prefer a "tighter" ride as opposed to loose and swaying. Right now with all the snow and ice bumps here in Alaska it's a little rougher but not too bad. You won't have to worry about that though haha. Also small world my wife is from Alabaster and I'm from Dothan.

I prefer a stiffer ride as well, thinking of switching to 886s soon with just sliders and skids on the truck.

Good stuff, I grew up in Hoover and used to work in Alabaster. What took you to Alaska?

I'm sure you would love it! That's awesome. Alabaster/Pelham area is a nice place! Like Jim said above I'm an air traffic controller in the Air Force and I volunteered to move to Alaska. It's awesome up here!

What made you go with the full OME suspension over the Bilstein 5100s/885 setup?

I heard from a few reputable shops in the local area that they have had a combined total of 6 customers come back within the first 2 months with blown 5100s. They think it was due to cold temps. Half of those customers said they haven't even off roaded with them and they just fell apart. I figured i don't really need the adjustable feature so I decided on OME. So far I love them!!
