    Not much stock left.
I had posted this question a page or two back, so the ARB front locker has a bushing that replaces the needle bearing?

Correct. Don’t need to do the ECGS bushing fix if you install an arb front air locker.

I called ECGS and verified it. You can call them if you want more info.

I did this install. Everything feels better than stock now. Super smooth. Fuck a needle bearing.

    Too many to list...
Quick blurb on my situation, maybe someone following would like to chime in...
I replaced the needle bearing with the ecgs bushing which wasnt overly difficult (and I hadn’t pulled a cv axle before, just had a friend who had on other vehicles). Actually made my own removal tool and worked like a charm first try...
Now I have a slight pulsing vibration noticeable at right around 60mph while on the gas. I did not install the carrier spacers that HS included with the lift kit... if the vibe continues I may give that a try.
Just installed bilstein 6112/5160 with Dakar medium leafs, front set at 5/4 rings, all at the same time as the bushing. Right after install the lift was at 2.5-3” (perfect!)
Should I give the carrier spacers a shot? Wait and let it settle to see how the vibe progresses?

Looking for the bearing removal tool if anyone has one they want to part with. (Or the ONE official TacomaWorld tool that seems to be floating around the forum!) Pic for attention, of course.

Just did the bushing install today. Truck feels super smooth again!

Not going to need my bushing removal tool, so it's for sale... I'll let it go for $25 + shipping to any TW member.

Did you have an alignment done after the lift?
Did you change wheels and tires the same time as the lift?
Vibe is only present while on the gas at?

Alignment was done the next day after the install - all #s within spec, although I feel like the camber isn't quite right. Tops of tires too far out, bottom too far in.
Wheels and tires were done ~1.5+ years ago, same before and after the lift.
Yes, seems the vide is only there ~60-65mph while on the gas.

Truck has been at the dealer for 2.5 weeks with a brake issue though - loss of about half the pressure in the pedal (Another thread on this, don't need to get into it here). So when I get it back Monday (hopefully) I'll be getting another alignment done to iron it out. I got an unlimited alignment package for 3 years, so I plan to use it.

    Okay, I remember your brake thread now;
I mentioned tearing apart the rear brakes...
There's been a few reports of vibes traced back to rear brake problems.
Your vibes and brake problem might be related.
When you go on the test drive with your service advisor, get it up to 60. If the pedal is still mush and you still have the vibe, it might be worth mentioning.

Quick question as I am doing my bushing install tomorrow. How far does the new bushing go in. It's hard to see in the video and they don't give a spec. Any help is appreciated

You can use a mechanic's pick to get a good idea of when to stop tapping the bushing in. There's a pretty defined valley behind where the needle bearing was seated that the plate at the end of the removal tool slips into. If you keep tapping and sneak up on this valley, continually feeling with the pick you can stop right on the line.

Thanks guys. Video definitely helps. I am a mechanic and like specs and things just to make sure it all on the up and up. I don't like to remove or replace it again because of a incorrect install

I did it backwards. I had a slim hope that I would have this vibration but nope. 1 day after my 3inch lift and the noise and vibration started
