MyProtein is the shit. They have great reviews on labdoor.com. I, too, was an ON junkie until I discovered MyProtein.

I've tried fish oil, but noticed nothing, so I dropped them...I didn't have joint pain previously, though, so I can't speak for them.

If you care about quality, you can start making your own preworkout. You can get the ingredients from Amazon...the company is Bulk Supplements. All you need is caffeine and beta alanine...Everything else you buy in pre-workouts is filler. You can spend $30 on your own ingredients and be set for a year.

    BCAA's are snake oil, IMO

Creatine is proven, but I'm a non-responder...doesn't do shit for me

    Same errday here

In the words of a wise man, "I still got abs, tho"

Only people with a big 3 over 1000 can talk shit.

I just see everyone posting what works for them...:notsure: (with a little shit talk... which is entertaining) no one claiming to be experts. Anyone should know that the same thing doesn’t work for everyone. Do your research, try things out and build from there. Duh.

I've pretty much winged it for the last few years, but I've decided to try a 12 week plan from the buff dudes website. Not sure if anyone else has tried it, but I'm excited to see how it works out.

I did get some help with weight loss on a supp. However my example is a little extreme.

First, as most people here know, I'm basically immune to caffeine.

Second, I'm old so my metabolism sucks wang.

I got down about 70 pounds and just couldn't lose an ounce after a few months, even gained 10 back. I'm sure part was noob muscle but my pants got tighter in the waist. I dropped an additional 300-400 calories a day and no dice.

The supp got me over the hump, lost that 10 and about 15-20 more. But I hasten to add, that's only after all else fails

    Like, so many.
I hadn’t seen the movie Troy in a while and remember thinking Brad Pitt was huge in this movie, but I watched it tonight and while he’s obviously fit, he’s not the monster I remembered. Any idea how much he weighs in Troy?

I think it's hilarious that you never contribute anything gym-related to this thread and only antagonize folks. I know it may sting, but maybe some people know more than you. I'm only sharing what has worked for me. My diet and training makes me stronger when I bulk and my diet and training makes me leaner when I cut. I'm sharing what works for me. Why don't you post a pic and your numbers and maybe we'll listen to what you have to say

I say hell with the numbers, let's see what he looks like, that'll tell more truths. Anyone can make up numbers, can't make up what you look like (sorta but god damn do I really need to explain how to get around that) :D
