    Day two, should be able to ride soon. This thing is so cool. I may have to buy one for myself.

    Cases open and rear wheel works the drive shaft that works the pistons. This one is the boys, I might need my own.

    I was given a few older sets. #6205 V-Wing #7101 Lightsaber Duel and #7113 Tuskegee Raider Encounter. I am only missing one piece, the cape for Anakin. I’ve corrected that with a bricklink order.

    Secondly, my $45 Batwing arrived from Amazon.

    That's a cool comparison, thanks for posting. I remember getting that original y-wing when it was first released and you're right, it's pretty amazing how far they've come with set designs.

    Stretching the purpose of this thread a bit, but I've been on sort of a Y-wing kick lately. I've been rebuilding my Lego Y-Wing a few times trying to be able to do so from memory. Here's my Lego version next to another recent project.

    @EODTRD
    @Sear87

    So I ordered the Rebel U-Wing Fighter on Amazon on January 9th. It shipped on January 10th and was scheduled to arrive no later than 8pm on the 16th. The online tracker thing shows it as arriving at a distribution center of some sort (near me) on Monday, but it says "delayed as per your instructions." I never gave them any instructions, so I'm assuming this is due to MLK Day. Well, on the 16th it's shown arriving in Horsham at 3:09pm.

    Some of the info says USPS and some says UPS. I talked to the mailman yesterday and he didn't have my package.

    Well, 8pm came and went last night, and the status went from being just short of "In Transit" to "Your item was expected by 8pm tonight. We're sorry it's late."

    I routinely have packages arrive late, so I never rely on their estimates. I think @98tacoma27 is probably right. Just keep an eye out. Your haul will be there soon.

    Also, my parents are fighting me tooth and nail about saving up to buy the UCS Falcon.

    They tolerate my present LEGO addiction, because with the exception of the Creator VW Beetle they got me for Christmas, I paid for it all myself...

    My parents say the Falcon is extravagance I don't need and can't afford, and they're probably right...

    However, I still want the damn thing!

    I have to agree with your parents. I spend entirely too much on toys. I have more money than sense sometimes. However if saving for it over time doesn’t impact your finances then treat yourself.

    Do you think the UCS Falcon is worth it, Homer?

    i don't think any lego set is worth it if you are having to save money up for it over a long period of time. something like that $800 set is for when you have Extra income. As i have gotten older and now have young kids, I want to make sure they know how hard it is to make money and how important it is to spend it in the right places. my parents never taught me any of that.

    Again, no one can tell you what to do with your money. so if that is what you really want to do with it, then go for it. but i would say SAVE, and or invest it.

    Does anyone have the newest Star Destroyer? I don't remember which kit. My son built it and the bottom doesn't stay on. I don't want to Kragle any legos but if i have to use some Kragle to keep the bottom on I will. I will try to get the kit # or a picture of the set.

    I'm buying the Porsche GT3 and Mack Anthem later this month with some money I've been saving up, but I don't think I'm gonna be buying the UCS Falcon in this lifetime...
