Sorry just reading through but if you have a local Caterpillar dealer try there for the 9/16 bolts. If they don't have them they should be able to get overnight and Cat hardware is good stuff.

We could use a lift leaf, but I have these extra leafs I removed that I'm going to add back (only one leaf). I have access to about 20 other individual leafs as well, so I can make a bastard pack for cheap.

I actually found everything I needed at Lowe's of all places lol.... But good to know about the Cat dealer. I'm pretty sure we have a pretty big one in town too.

I worked for Cat for 17 years the hardware is top notch (or at least it was I assume it still is) I used all Cat hardware rebuilding my Camaro never an issue. If it's designed to hold up to the abuse of earthmoving equipment it should be good. Nice build or rebuild BTW

Maybe it’s just the picture, but it looks alot lower in the rear. I was thinking you could add leafs too, i may have some extra 63 leafs if you need them.

It only measures an inch lower in the rear from the frame, it just looks much more because the front fenders are cut so high and the rear wheel wells aren't haha. I thought the same at first though

Got the rest of the rear suspension welded up and added a 4th leaf back in so it's still more level now. The winch and bumper that is getting built next will help weigh down the front and keep things level.

Got another 14 bolt last week, and this one has 4.56's and a detroit.... Just waiting on the brake brackets and then the drums will be swapped out for disks. In the meantime, I got all the old brackets cut off the axle and got the winch mount done on the front of the truck. Tim pretty much gave me the freedom to build whatever bumper I want, so I'll have to draw something up.

Honestly, I don't know much about it haha. It's a buddy's and it was fully restored... everything on this truck is pristine. We swapped out the SM465 for an auto trans (I don't even know which one). That swap is done, but now there are some cooling issues with the electric water pump.... blah blah blah... I am jut ready to get it out of my yard lol. I will have to take a couple more pics of it though

I gave you freedom with the entire truck lol. Do I need to order anything for that rear?

    Touché lol.

I already ordered the brake brackets, so I'll just bill you for that lol. If you want a nice diff cover, now would probably be a good time to order
