Are the cam plugs not a reusable item? Just curious...

It's less Tacoma and more mod
They're reusable but they recommend changing them because the adhesive sticks really well and is hard to get off, if left alone they leak.

Not really. The cam plugs have a kind of coating around their circumference. I guess you could just ignore them if they weren't leaking. But replacing them kind of "goes along" with the valve cover gasket job.

The half moons, on the other hand, are totally reusable; they are solid aluminum pieces that you can remove and re-dope with the packing sealant. I've no idea why folks are replacing those.

Regarding the front camshaft seals #90311-38051 (2), isn't that part of the timing belt kit and involved removing the timing cover and coolant? If that's the case, I will hold off on those and just have my guy replace the following for my valve cover job:

OEM VALVE COVER GASKETS (2) 11213-62020
OEM SPARK PLUG GROMMETS (6) 11193-70010
OEM VALVE COVER BOLT SEALS (16) 90210-05007
    OEM CAMSHAFT PLUGS (2) 11188-62010
    TOYOTA FIPG (1) 00295-00103
OEM ALUMINUM HALF MOONS (4) 11183-62010
    OEM PLENUM GASKETS (2) 17176-62040

You should only be messing with the rear cam plug seals... replace them as they have a rubber coated edge.

Thank you Gunny...received my parts today. Ordered Fri from Arizona, arrived in NY today. Super fast and thank you again

I will send the camshaft seals (90311-38051) back as I will not be needing them. If I'm wrong and I should keep them, please let me know

No, you don't. Replacing the camshaft seals is not part of this repair. It's related to the timing belt job.

Unfortunately this is the only Tacoma spreadsheet I currently have. I haven't even done this job myself, nor bought any parts. Turned out 99% of my valve cover seep was fixed by retorquing the cover bolts!
