I am, but that's fixable down the road haha.
Already ordered the Pro Chinese grille & pro Rigid fog lights, so I can have that BRO look.
Now just need to test it out and see how the TSS will react to that Pro grille, people made it work on TW, so shouldn't be much of a problem.

Haha, I know, they can't get it! :brianr:

I am the only one so far who placed an order for 18 ACLB in Ontario with MT

It's fancy, but will give me some help in those first couple of weeks when I adjust my driving. I am super interested how adaptive cruise control is going to work with MT.
For the off-road times, everything turns off when you hit 4LO I believe, will test it out. I know I can disable 3 out of 4 sensors, leaving me with pedestrian control one only.

There is a thread on it. Your going to have to order a $50 piece of plastic then your good to go.

Couldn't tell ya how normal Cruise is on MT...never use it.

I'm interested how the pedestrian control will work on an MT. Keep us apprised on this TSS is with MT, I can't fathom it

I do long drives that can be 10+ hours, so cruise control is my best friend at those times.
I remember I did a trip in a rusted out and barely road legal Jeep TJ MT to Halifax and back under 5 days, I realized that cruise control is something nice to have on those trips.

That TSS should give me better rates on the insurance.
I will keep you all posted with how all that safety bells and whistles work with MT, worst case I'll just turn them off.

Has there been anyone crazy enough to invest the time (and money) on TW to add an additional overdrive unit to the manual transmission?

It’s nice to be in the powerband on the freeway, but I hate to calculate my gas mileage when driving 80mph clocking almost 3k RPMs...

Can you not find this configuration in the U.S. anymore? I guess I have a unicorn.

I believe the Canadians had/have the option. Unfortunately the only 6MT with a long bed comes as an AC TRDsport in the US.

One thing I found interesting about the 2018 MT, is the fact that shifting between gears when cruise is set will not cancel your cruise control. That’s a first for any MT I have driven, and I appreciate this feature. Maybe this has been mentioned already, but thought it was cool

Depressing the clutch doesn’t stop cruise? Wouldn’t that be a safety issue?

And by not cancelling cruise you mean when you change gear the truck automatically continues controlling throttle to maintain speed? Or that all you need to do is click “resume?”

    That’s definitely a new one.

Yep, that’s what I’m saying. It caught me by surprise, but it’s definitely pretty damn convienant. I believe this is only true when adaptive cruise is in use, so that pretty much takes care of the safety concern. The cruise will not let you hit something in front of you, within reason of course

the cruise is delayed when the clutch is engaged, then goes back to set speed. i tried it in my 18 to see what it would do. I'm not really a bells and whistles guy, but i gotta say the adaptive cruise is nice on a road trip.
