Mmmm Hmmm I needs me a hood like that for some intercooling. Where did you find that? Customize a 4runner one or buy it?

Seems like a lot to spend modifying just to find out you don't like it or want it .Looks nice though.

@Dagostino480 I am just a little over an hour from cheyenne over in nebraska. I have a welder and fancy new plasma cutter that i got for Christmas that is begging for projects. Also a 2 post lift in the shop. Shoot me a pm, and i can help you out.

Sidenote.... Fiberglass, leaf packs, trilogy skids, and shock towers showed up in past couple weeks...... Just waiting on shocks still...... I have so much to do now, ill need a mod week to get it all done.

 

What is the maximum +caster values you can achieve with lr uca’s And 265/75/16’s and 285/75/16’s respectively without any wheel well rubbing? 1st gen

 

Lr uca's will go up to +4° caster.

Which is way too much.

However. If you set them at the 4° mark you can then add caster via the lcas which in turn will move the wheel away from the cab area giving you more clearance and would net you around +2° total.

Either way you should easily be able to clear those tires with a bit of hammering.

 

I’m currently on dtracs 31.5 and have no rubbing issues, however it has never tracked quite the same post lift as the oem ucas cant quite be brought back into factory caster settings. Some of the lr uca write ups mention rubbing in the rear of the wheel well with +2* caster setting, however none of them mention tire size and I don’t see it in their vehicle specs. I’m going to go 33’s for my next set so I’m more interested in anyone with firsthand experience runn No that set up.

 

Trying my hardest to resist offering my truck and a grand as trade.... needs a little work and a big lowering but looks nice otherwise.

Well I'm sire you can find people running those with 33s. I'm not though. Only person here that runs lr uca's is Ben but he has 32s.

Nice! Doesn't look bad. Needs some love but for the price...totally worth it.

I gave up trying to press in my bushings because I don’t have a vice, and the hammer didn’t work. Dropped them off at a shop to call and have them do it in the am, then in my sulking, I realized I can use my impact gun and just get a bigger bolt and cup to put on the control arm and I can press the bushing in that way

 

Yep. Done that on the trail. Works great
