4.88s and 35’s on the 6MT and RPMs are still higher than they should be. 37s would be perfect.

37’s are really big. And hard to fit.

I don’t have a 3rd gen but my tires are making some huge rub marks and dents in the upper wheel well LOL

Like I side, I don’t mob my shit down trails or jump it. Haven’t had any rubbing unless I set the front down hard. Driving skills fellas.

Good luck! I once knew someone that tried to fit those on a third gen. They didn’t fit too well.

 

Likely wasn’t done right then. This ain’t my first rodeo. Anything can be made to happen if done right.

 

Different types of wheeling. I found I was rubbing the frame when cranked all the way to the left. Not the cab mount but the actual frame by the bump mounts. You getting that too? Found a nice shiny spot after wheeling.

 

Are you 2nd gen? If so, you have smaller wheel wells than a 3rd gen.

 

Not rubbing the frame. Wheels are 3.5 BS and I have a good 2" of space between the tire and UCA. At full lock and full compression, I have about an inch of space between the tire and firewall.

You’ll have to tub the wheel wells and pretty much cut off the cab mount. That’s with long travel too. You’ll have a tough time without that.

 

All part of the plan.

I kept thinking about what the hell I did wrong when I chopped of my fenders lol...glad to know there is only one lucky person here and rest are in the same boat as me.
