True, from the few things I've read there alot better than the previous ones. Actually have sipes in them etc and 3 ply wall. The deal was too good to turn down so, we will see then they come

 

Your shocks won't be long enough to give you more lift. You can put blocks or spaces on top of the coils making it taller but they ride like shit and look funny.

You need a longer shock and bigger spring.

My lift is only 2.5 in the front

 

We'll look at it this way. Being mud they don't last long lol

I'm referring to the front.

my back is extended shocks with full dakar leaf pack and U bolt flip kit
my rear is 3" higher than stock and needed extended brake lines.

Front is extended length coilovers with upgraded upper control arms. Adjustable and set to 2.5" of lift but could go higher.

Not sure what extension pieces you're referring to.

 

I got scared and went with 265/70. No 33s for me, hopefully shouldn’t hurt gas mileage to bad at 53lbs.... but they were 215 a piece so

 

good price for sure.

31.7 is pretty good anyways.

 

Just saw an old landcruiser. Talked to the owner and she's willing to sell. Diesel, 360 k on it and rocker panels are gone. I'm hopefully talking to her later to take a look at it. Anyone know other than the obvious stuff what to look for to appraise it?

Just like @Joe23 I have dedicated winters, and I want to start doing more advanced things off road. I have been thinking MT's as well, but am just a bit hesitant due to road noise and MPG hit.


I need to take the plunge thought, it is what I want.

They seem to sell those in 255/75/R17 but the load index is only 111 compared to the 265/70/R17 with a load index of 121. Is that a big deal? The 255's would be pizza cutters right, just slightly taller?

The hits not to bad. And most mts aren’t terrible now a days. However you can get some pretty aggressive all terrains as well. Or some not as aggressive mts

 

Have no idea. All is know is they are pricey in general.

Could always do a diesel swap for a Cummins. Lots of options. Just depends how far down the rabbit hole you want to go. There is one for sale that is completely built. Let me find the add
