The Cavalry blue is awesome. Only reason I got the truck I did. Previous truck was a blue-jeans metallic F250, and I'm in the market for a 964 Turbo in Cobalt blue. By far my favorite color.

Love the color. Funny, I'm in a bar for HH and someone commented that my truck is the same color as the court at the Australian Open

I had to google 964 Turbo. Strange choice for a new truck. :)

As with Cement last year, there are a limited number of Cavalry Blue Pro's this year. I don't know the exact numbers, but Toyota seems to have said there are limited number's of TRD Pro's, and within that there would be a limited number of ones that are Cavalry Blue. Even further by AT vs MT.

I love the color, but also love the resale value of a limited color run as well. I think a well cared for Pro in one the 'exclusive' colors for the initial model year will maintain greater value over time. Not trying to be snobby, it's just what the market does with it over time. Hate to say it (and hope it doesn't happen to me), but a bunch are going to get totaled and further reduce the availability. I'm sure you'll have lot's of blue to dislike next year when they release it to the hoards... :D :anonymous::boink:

Ps - I'll probably have mine for 10 - 15 years unless they come up with a super energy efficient taco that drives itself, unless I want to, and has electric power with long range (electric torque is immediate - think of that offroad). Cavalry Blue would be fine...

Beautiful! Just picked up mine on Monday! BTW, I used to live out your way. College in Boulder, Med School in Denver, lived in Colorado 13 years. Miss it every day!

I’m picking up mine on Monday. I kind of hope that since there is a sizable group of people hating on the cavalry blue, that maybe they won’t release it to lower trims. That would seriously up the value. I probably won’t keep mine for many years, it’s not my normal pattern. But I guarantee if they bring the pro out in army green, or spruce mica, I’m trading!!

I dis-like blue vehicles in general but I'm kinda liking the Easter Egg..er, Cavalry Blue Taco and the Heritage Blue FJ.

Not that it’s any of my business, but curious why you sold your 3rd Gen. I figured you a die hard Tacoma guy.

It’s the truck in that pic, not the color that is badass imo. The Cavalry Blue is a nice color, but a badass truck will look good in most if not all Tacoma colours...except for perhaps orange.

I am a die hard Tacoma guy!!

But..........I tow a trailer full of KB Voodoo parts all the time. Normally I pick up parts in 5,000 pound loads. The Tundra just pulls that load so much better.

Plus we wanted to start making parts for the Tundra (even though Tundra owners don't mod their trucks anywhere near as much as Tacoma owners).

I don't mind blue (my BMW x1 was lemas blue 2) But quicksand has dug its way into my heart....especially now that I live out here in the desert.
