    Well it is great the kids are grown and the house is paid for but it SUCKS for taxes you would think you would break even claiming single 00 but noooooo the state I work for wants a dollar or three lol . It probably costs them more in processing then they get . I have always liked the idea of 17% flat tax down to a certain income level for single, married, married with kids, single with kids. Businesses etc across the board. The cost savings in printing alone would be immense take Irs halve it the other half border patrol or some such thing. Not being political just think it would end all the shenanigans of corps and of people playing hide and go seek. Course I am also of the opinion if a company or person owes taxes if they are not actively making a deal to pay or paying or in some sort of bankruptcy proceeding well. Given 60 day notice either make deal, pay or provide proof of bankruptcy etc. Any and all business licenses , ability to any business other then to accept payments for services previously rendered etc are shut down. For persons professional license vehicle license etc suspended. Yes it may be draconian but if you have 60 days notice to figure out something before it happens well really is it that bad? Even token payments would prevent it , if you threaten peoples lively hoods, ability to conduct business or drive a car yeah on a guess you would see all the back taxes being paid forthwith !!

    CLUNK!!!!

    Sorry fell off my soap box it is to damn tall lol :}

    I imagine he is passed out asleep, texted earlier today he was getting ready to paint at work , I would venture his shoulder being more jacked then mine was talking pretty loud by the end of the day painting holding the spray gun out. Still waiting for response as I understand.

    SNOW!!!! woohoo :D

    :rant: me, too. Like Rob said, took me several years to get mine straight and have extra $$ taken out and only get a refund due to my house... Claim single and 0. Otherwise I'd have to increase my withholdings more. :rant:

    :mad: :rant:

    :laughing:

    I know that feeling all too well. Hope he's ok.....
