here is some bullshit,

Talking with a couple of guys at the shop about sunday's CnC.........

they CLAIM that the parking lots were not full and that the organizers purposely kept tuner cars out of the event........
they also claim that the event had to many trucks in it and there was no place for "them"
one guy claimed that sectioning areas for specific types of vehicles is unfair and would cause people to get angry because they couldn't park with their buddies..........

Ya know, Pebble Beach, Barret Jackson, Mecum, and other shows/auctions section cars based on model and type, none of those folks get pissed.......

what got me was some pecker head decided to park his yellow Ford truck in the only Handicap space in the whole lot (at least that I saw)

This should be relayed to the organizers I think, along with our continued offer of help to control the mess...........

Agreed, because her communication to me was quite to the contrary. We were appreciated because of our positive behavior and good attitudes.

Before I volunteer it, how do y’all feel if we volunteer (at least for February) to help with traffic control? I am careful making any suggestions to them or volunteering us without clear overwhelming support because I know myself. In the absence of effective leadership I will take over, and I haven’t seen a lot of leadership from this show runner. In her defense it was her first show and she had some lessons to learn. Now that she’s had an education I am curious what her future plans are.

 

We'd have to work in shifts for tacos sake though... But hopefully it was a steep learning curve and it goes smoother next month.

Looks like we will actually make it tonight! Will land just before 1a if the flight crew can make it. Plane is here, just waiting to board pending on attendants. Like I said, Lyft will likely be our go-to unless miraculously someone is headed the way we are when we arrive.

Just boarded. ATL was a mess. Glad to finally be on the way!

 

That was brutal. Just got in, lyfting it home. Stoked to meet up with anyone this weekend! Like I said earlier, will be hitting up one or both of those breweries (Thousand Oaks or White Stone) either Friday or Saturday, if anyone wants to roll out! We can work on a time later.

 

I know the cook and can guarantee that all TTC members who want a taco will receive tacos.
Or
I will happily put my "Ass Hole" hat on and help with organization of the event.

I'm good either way.

 

TTC could be the group that receives the gate money in February.
Two good things could from that;
1. The organizers get a lesson on how to run the show.
2. TTC gets some cash to jump start the plans that @ChadsPride has for the group.
