I've only heard that about the sliding windoors. It'd be nice to have a slider on the passenger side and a windoor on the driver for ease of bed access and still vent when I camp inside it.

By the way, which leer dealer did you use?

Yeah he's a cool guy. The younger lady at the front desk however...it did not seem like she wanted to be there at all, lol.

While your cap is off, I would recommend taking off the plastic caps on the side bed rails and putting sealant under them. There are a lot of holes under those caps that can let water (splashed up from below) and dust in.

good idea, canopy dealer suggested not to do this because the small plastic tabs are fragile

Should this go the full distance of the bed? I guess I didn't realize it only went a little way down the side rail

I've never had water come in at the sides unless I pressure washed directly at that are. Always at the tailgate and the front

The rest of the seal might be on the shell, i would definately want the seal all around the perimeter.

The rest of that is stuck to the shell, it runs around the whole perimeter.

If I was you while the shell is gone, I would redo that seal in the corners because that doesn't look like it will keep anything out.
