I literally drove around all the time with the passenger seat-belt buckled, most passengers thought it was odd and had to jimmy around to un-buckle it and buckle themselves in.

I put a magnet on the pillar and the belt clips to it automatically when people unbuckle

Anyone disable their TPMS? I followed the thread on TW and cut the green wire on the footwell and ground the blue wire behind the glove box but the damn light still shines. Also tried hooking the blue to power and still no luck

I took my dash apart and put a dab of black silicone over the hole with the light in it. Let it dry for about 3 hours, put it all back together. Done. While you are in there, rip out that stupid door dinger seat belt thing too.

Massive hours of off roading in Arizona with the doors off and the beeper will drive you mad. Plus when we go swimming or while I am doing remote heli work, I back the truck up, open the doors, and turn on the radio at camp.

A little of this and a little of that.
A relatively rare sight in GA. Snow covered Tacoma.

Got my lift installed with the help of another TW member followed by new tires. I'm pretty happy with it, got a little more rake than I wanted but it should settle a bit.

5100s with OME 883 coils in the front, and 5100s with a Headstrong progressive AAL in the rear. Tires are Falken Wildpeak 265/75/16.

That’s literally the same lift I’m looking at getting. Now I know, thanks!

It's a great upgrade, much better than the stock suspension. The alignment numbers came out great but I probably could've done the 884 coils and not had any issues. I also left the overload leaf in so take that into consideration. Sitting around 1.5" of rake right now.

Removed the spacer lift and installed OME 884s on Bilstein 5100s and installed SOS Offroad Concepts bolt on sliders.

Any chance you could measure the hub to fender distance for me? I'm curious how much lift regular cabs get with them.

Truck looks great btw, I need those sos sliders

Have y'all ever used the center seat on the bench? Out of curiosity.:crapstorm::bananadead: I am picking up my neice and nephew from school tomorrow. One doesn't need a booster anymore so she's fine in the regular passenger seat theoretically, the other is still in a booster. I do not have a passenger air bag cutoff.

Is this legal, safe, responsible etc? Comfortable for 20 minutes occasionally? What are y'all thoughts? Last time I borrowed my grandma's car but I'd like to avoid doing that if I can just for the occasion that I can't borrow someone else's vehicle. That gets old quick.

Please be civil, I know some people get heated over car seat safety but this is new for me so just be glad I'm trying to educate myself!

Lol, I've had 4 people across the bench in a pinch. If you have a manual, the shifter definitely makes the middle a bit less useful but still works.

I'm not sure what the law says about booster seats in the front however.

i use to sit in the middle bench seat on my grandpas 88 Toyota pickup when i was a kid. He would even let me shift the gears. We use to cruise all over the place. Probably note the safest but it made for some pretty precious memories.

My dad always had a single cab growing up and I never once had a car seat in it. Times have certainly changed.
