    Greetings all

I was looking for a vehicle to replace a Lexus that I had on lease and decided that I wanted a truck. Some research was done and I settled on getting a Tacoma TRD Pro. I went to the Seattle International Auto show in hopes of seeing a 2018 or getting more info on the 2018s. They had a Cement TRD Pro posing as a 2018. It even had a sticker on the window for TSS-P. I was also checking dealer inventories online and Craigslist to see who had a Pro in stock. I decided to pay my regular dealer a visit on Black Friday. They had a 2017 Cement TRD Pro in stock as well as a used white TRD Pro. I didn't like the white because it reminds me of a work truck. I asked when they would be getting the 2018s in and no one had a clue. I took the Cement Pro for a test drive and then we went to talk numbers. They had an offer for $1500 off on ALL Tacomas, they paid the last 2 lease payments on the Lexus (another $1550) and I got them to knock another $120 off. There was no "Additional Dealer Markup" on the sticker. I went ahead with the purchase.

I had to go back to the dealer the next day to bring the Lexus home. I noticed there were some odd pieces of plastic in the console that I had no idea of where they went. The salesman went to check on it. Turns out it was the end caps for the rail system in the bed. It also turns out that they were in the console because they were taken off to exhibit it at the auto show. So without making the connection initially, I bought the truck that was at the auto show that was masquerading as a 2018.

You may wonder where the Badwolf in the title comes from, I was able to get that as my license plates.

So your truck has already been sat in, leaned against, touch by snotty nosed kids, and farted in more than anyone elses on this site? :D Welcome!

It is. It is also fitting with how the cement and black make the truck look.

Nothing. It is my second vehicle and paid for. It helps keep the miles off of the truck. It's pretty much stock except for the tinted front windows and a custom stereo.

Badwolf is dead, long live Badwolf.

After a couple of years with the Tacoma, I decided I needed something bigger. Toyota would have had my business on a Tundra if they had done a refresh recently but they haven't. I was hoping for the OVtune twin turbo or supercharger kits to be out soon, but that doesn't seem like it is going to happen. I don't blame Matt, timing was just not right. I looked at GMC and RAM and then at Ford. It was a hard decision. I found a brand new 2019 Ford Raptor for about $10K off sticker that was loaded. I bought it. The FJ is still mine and will probably be for the foreseeable future. I'm going to miss my Tacoma a bit.

So here it is, Badwolf Mark II.
