Worked from home today - had something that didn't sit right for dinner last night and well so I was feeling like crap all morning.

Just went out to shovel the front walk and the guy across from me is plowing his driveway... there's only an inch at most on the ground...

Haha she doesn't want to learn with snow on the ground so I have to wait till then to try again. I've taken her out once or twice in the Mustang and that didn't go too well for her.

Is your truck a stick? Low range is great for people to learn the friction zone with.

Ever since I've had a 4x4 I do it that way exclusively. Start them out in low range so they can get a feel for the clutch without stalling or doing the herky-jerky neck snapper. Once they've got a feel for where it engages (and gotten over the idea that a clutch is an on/off switch) they graduate to 2-hi. Works out a lot better for them and for the truck. :notsure:

Edit- Been a while since I've had to teach somebody, though. My circle of friends doesn't have as rapid a rate of turnover as it did when I was younger, and by now the ones who didn't know have already been taught.

Dog things went down hill again.

Picked up a cancelled appointment at 8: 15 this morning.
Complete Ederly blood screen urine and I brought a stool from last night.
    Complete physical.
Now on antibiotic that seems to be making a difference, even after just 10 hrs.

Dr was 45 min late because of the weather.
    Results of tests tomorrow, hopefully.

It is, wait are you saying to just drop it into 4x4 to make learning easier? She's the first person I've tried to teach so it's a new game for that

Edit: Nvm scrolled 2 messages down

I use having 2 trucks as a pickup line/getting phone numbers once they say "oh, I've always wanted to learn to drive stick"

You gone learn today :spy: :anonymous:

Bought a co-worker's ring who was divorced and had the stone re-set in a new band. .75 carat Marquis cut, $400. The wrap was melted together but I still have it. I bought a half Chevron band for her and told her to get earrings made from the old wrap but haven't yet.

She's not into jewelry at all. Score

Showing this apartment is damn exhausting I’ve had a few good candidates but holy shit the amount of trash i need to sort to get to them is nuts... also can’t believe how rude some people think they can be when they are the ones who need a house.... had one guy say “first off were gonna negotiate that price” I hung up lol
