    They don't have any kind of loaner available (I checked), and the closest rental place is a long-ass hike.

    Tundra double cab doesn’t have a big enough back seat for 2 baby seats; my brother in law has one. I’d need a crew max. I believe the wheelbase on both trucks is the same but the crewmax only has a 5.5’ bed.

    Must be some huge car seats. I've had kiddo seats in my DC several times. The CM does have some extra space though. The 5.5' bed kills that option for me.

    Chico nextfit, we have two of the same, plenty of room in the Venza rear or forward facing. I can’t have a rear facing behind me in the truck.
    This is even with the seat more forward of where I usually sit. My wife and I are both over 6’

    I won’t buy another 2WD truck. I live in the country, this is Wisconsin, and I can’t expect all winters to be mild.
    We are considering a Tundra for the camper. Tacoma does the job fairly well but in this case bigger is better.
