Morning peeps

 

Mornin' all. This morning has been an absolute circus so far. Been at work since 6:30 and just now getting my first cup of coffee.

 

I've been like that for the last 2 weeks! On the 3rd my only other co-worker went on vacation he came back to work this Monday the 15th and then went to another location since then for training!

 

Ah - so you've proven that after he gets promoted & leaves that he doesn't need to be replaced, just cross train someone to cover your time off.
LOL, modern workplace "efficiency".

 

Lol. Yeah I have to do the same 3 day training next week.

I just hope I can get through it without telling off the powers that be how stupid it is to train us on something we have been doing everyday for years!

Guess they don't know my truck HAS BEEN PAID OFF for some time now... LOL. And guess they didn't get the hint when I replied to the last email, saying I wasn't interested. FAK!

I still get those for my Toyota, and I haven't even had it for nearly 18 months.

 

That's my first name. Portuguese people tend to have two first names... one that is typically picked by your dad, and one by your mom. So I have two first names, but go by the second (Nuno). Always been called that by my parents and friends.

EDIT: Or should I say Portuguese people that have "old school" parents, and are born in Portugal (like myself).

 

One for friends, one for the Gub'mint. Makes sense.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's how I know to either hang up when I get a call from a number I don't recognize, if I even answer the phone.

 

Every time I move apartments I dread having to deal with showing my place. Between pets, valuables, realtors, scheduling, and the comments it's the worst.

My girlfriend would be thrilled if it worked... There's always room for a +1!

 

Mine is the selfish sort and doesn't like to share me, so if I showed up with a +1 she wouldn't be impressed.

 

Same here. I still get calls every so often from a dealer asking if I want to trade it in. I've told them to take me off their call list several times but they never do apparently.

I'm using a realtor for my second floor - it's vacant now since I just renovated it. 3 days after he listed it he calls me complaining that he's on had 50 views and wants me to drop the price from 2100 to 1900 and that it would rent faster... I was like dude it was up for 3 days - I don't know what kind of realtor he is but he can go pound sand if I'm going to lower the price on a place that has new hardwood floors, bathroom and kitchen... 2100 is low for a renovated price in Waltham too.

 

My buddy was born there, his name is Joe but I call him Buraco

 

LOL!!!! Is Buraco in his name, or just a nickname?! Wondering because that means "hole".
