I was actually thinking of making my own targets, but instead of your standard silhouette, it would just be arms and legs. My quiet response to "Why don't the cops just shoot people in the leg?"

So the bolt came in and it actually looks pretty darn good for being a test fired bolt. Looks basically brand new.

That's from the FX show Atlanta. Actually pretty educated humor. I didn't care for it when they were promoting the show before airing, but once I saw an episode, I was in. Donald Glover doesn't get the credit he deserves as a writer/actor across different genres.

That's exactly what I though when mine came from Spinta too. They said it was a blem. Could honestly not see a scratch on the thing.

If you had to shoot a Dogs tail while it is moving or not moving I would think it would be worth more than 1 point

Kinda true though. People are pretty sensitive when it comes to dogs. I've seen the biggest baddest dude on the block bend down and make kiss noises toward his little dog and cry like a baby if it's lost.

I've literally have people pull over to give my dog water when I walk home from the park on a summer day ( I live like one square block from the park). He's a Doberman, they get hot pretty quick so they pant a ton.

You could be lying wounded on the street and people with your guts hanging out would just go around you. Probably yell at your for being in their way.

Now a dog found hurt, doctors called, police on stand bye, old ladies swearing, kid crying, probably will make it into the paper. "Hurt dog found, death to the owner." Entire town standing together to find the dog abuser haha!

I like dogs more than people.:anonymous:

I also have a Dobe!:fistbump: I get what you mean. One time on a hike he flat out gave up on me and laid down in a small patch of shade next to a bush. Had to carry him for a bit which wasn't easy, but gave him water and let him cool off and he was fine.

I think it was the second biggest requirement to get hired, first priority being "can they fog a mirror". The main guy at the range is an old lifeguard, so he's pretty laid back. The rest are a bunch of wannabe's carrying tricked out Kimbers in Uncle Mike's nylon or Fobus holsters. The help they offer to new shooters is almost as cringe-worthy as you would hear at a gun store counter. In their minds, a perfect isosceles stance is the only way a handgun should ever be fired, and you must blade your body and chicken wing your elbow to hire any long gun. They about lost their shit the first time I pulled out my SBR'd AK...

God forbid you ever have to improvise.

My motto is simple train for everything, since once the defecation hits the rotating oscillator, you only get to make a single decision...............................
are you going to fight back or be a victim.......................

you do not get to choose:
    the time
    place
how many of them there are
    are you standing
    sitting
    knocked down
trying to get your family to safety

I have two older brothers who taught me a life lesson very early

Fighting fair WILL get you hurt!

All the close ranges by me are public, but the range officers are cool guys. Can at least do some target practice and try out a new toy, but it gets super boring real fast.

I've met some cool people there. It's pretty hard were I live to find people that like to shoot firearms other than deer rifles and shotguns.
