Agreed. No sense being in the circus if you can watch it.

I have a set of keys to remedy that issue. :bikewheelie2:

Perhaps those on parking duty have tacos brought to them? I'd be willing to walk over a few tacos for the ladies/gents on duty.

Just for a little perspective on C&C. I started going to the very first ones with a VW group years back. These issues people are complaining about now are no different than back then when it wasn't as organized. Somebody is always going to cry or complain. I have only been to one T&T with you guys but it was great to hang out with everybody and see how well organized as a group we are. Helping C&C maintain organization not only helps the overall show, but it helps maintain our relationship with them as a whole.

I will be at the next one and many in the future now that my project with FB is winding down finishing final punch items. It will be good to hang with you all again and talk Tacos and Eat Tacos :amen:

Yeah, reason I suggested is they've got a nice big grass area to park, so we could visit and check out rigs as we sip on our beers. I liked one of their 4-5 beers, and my wife liked one too. Plus if I'm driving, I'm not really looking to put a big drink on- mainly bs in a nice area. Last time I was at Whitestone, the lot was pretty packed. But the beer was more plentiful & they had games. Either way I'm down, or if anyone has anywhere else they can recommend- I'm all ears.

The Infinite Monkey Theorem winery off of South Congress. I'd link the website but it's blocked by my work firewall for being related to alcohol and tobacco (big brother hard at work). However, Yelp isn't blocked so here.

I'm not sure we should be ripping on import guys too much. Car guys are car guys, no matter what flavor they prefer. If we're allowed at C&C, so are they.

Let's not forget we're driving Japanese trucks ourselves....

I got the cold shoulder one time from the organizers in my VW R32 when I showed up with some of my Porsche buddies and they tried to get me to move :der: ....we were one of the first ones there too. Thankfully I have some good stand up friends who told those jokers :transformer: "he aint moving".

The fact that we get there earlier than any other group is nobody's problem but those who can't get there early like we do. :sorry:

Most of all the complaints I read about the last CnC were from people trying to roll in @ 1030 or after. Come early or stfu I say to those people. Austin is a big place and has a huge car/truck scene. If you want to park, set your alarm, show up early, and stop complaining.

Im glad we got there to watch the sun rise. It was absolutely beautiful from our spot. The entire lot was available for parking as well.
