A couple of us TW members, Matt, Alex, and I, and TTORA member, Cliff, got together today to do a trail run up to Chiva Falls. The weather was perfect, the trail was fun. We could not have asked for a more perfect day. Enjoy :)

It rained a few times throughout the week, so we had a few mud holes.

We were exited to see Chiva flowing. It was our first time seeing it flow. Notice all the green trees and plants.

Nice pics!! I love Chiva Falls. Haven't been out there since my kids were born. About 8 years or so. I remember going down the chute in my 89 4Runner and slamming it down on the door and putting a giant dent in my "new to me" truck. It was awesome!!:D

There's some areas around there that are... prerunnable with some 4x4 backup but... the actual chiva falls is 4x4 only.

    Man... 4.19% @ 72mo with usaa..... so tempted to find me a 2010 BSP TRD Off-Road d-cab with a 6speed..... soooo tempted.

Then it's just saving up for a URD supercharger, quick shifter, the rest of the armor i'd need, wet okole's, new undercover..... and never ending list of mods. lol

nice pictures! i'm really surprised that dragging my bumper across that rock twice didn't even dent it.....it hardly messed up the spray paint :p

i was also really paranoid about hitting my door when i was going though the wedge, but cliff was right on with the spotting tips thankfully.

today really was perfect weather for a trail run, i had a great time.

We all had a great time.

Like what Kyouto42 said, there are plenty of areas where you can go with a prerunner, it would be safe to have some there with 4x4. I still have an open diff on my 5 lug, but I try to push as far as I can.

The 4x4 trail to Chiva is awesome. The first time I went up there I rode with Cliff, his truck did great. This time I rode with Matt, I was surprise how will Matt's truck did with his tires, there was not too much spinning, it just climbed up with no issues.

If there is a time to visit Chiva, now is the time. Its beautiful!
