I hope my work gets some more video cards. We don't price gouge and I get 30% off. Hoping for some 1060-1080s on the next purchase.

Need to get my mine on. Few dollars a day on my gaming rig got me itching for more. Lol.

Ok cool. That is my opinion of him too, but there are plenty of people out there who think he is a genius. I just sit there shaking my head haha

Technically incorrect. If you bought low and sold high on every fluctuation you could beat the long term trend. I do it with my retirement stuff every year.

Oh it's dangerous if you aren't paying attention to it for sure, but it is possible. I only got a 19% rate of return on funds that gained 12% last year, so I'm fairly conservative with my moves. Still, that's 7% more than if I let it ride. 401K's should include a crypto option lol.

Any of you miners who use awesomeminer actually take the time to verify how much money you are taking in compared to the profit projections shown in the software? Mine were WAY off. Awesomeminer was predicting between $2.00 to $2.40 per day over the last couple days. I have only actually mined about $3.40 over about 2.5 days. Thats a big discrepancy. I did have a bit of downtime due to glitches etc, but not enough to account for that big difference. Just curious if anyone else is seeing such a big difference?

I did when I first started using it and things were always within the margin I was expecting. Couple things to remember

    1) AM just uses a "best guess" on earnings. Things like length of time in a pool, pool luck, and stuff can effect actual earnings
    2) Auto Exchange can loose you money. You are generally mining the highest profit coins and trying to convert to a stable coin. But if the coin you are mining is say .5 LTC in value and you auto convert, you loose a small fee for doing so (.001 think?) and then if LTC is going down in value you basically lost more value as it goes down. But same goes it can make you money if you convert and buy .5LTC and ltc goes up in value
    3) its been a weird couple of days with the market going down on pretty much everything for so many days in a row.

Id keep an eye on it but wouldn't worry too much about it.

Most people let emotions control they're trading and they buy sell the wrong time. You have to have skills to really make a good profit. Im learning them slowly.
